International Parliamentary Union & World Bank Institute Survey - A survey instrument designed to capture the structure, powers, tools and accountability mechanisms available to parliaments around the world. Data is sometimes available at the national level only and sometimes, for bicameral legislatures, for the lower and upper house separately. Following standard econometric practise each question in the survey (see blank survey) is coded in sequence (see IPU_Variable  Document). That is the number in the name of each variable corresponds to the survey question. The coded data is available in excel format (see Excel File).

WBI Survey of Public Procurement Oversight by Parliament - A survey Instrument designed to capture the ways in which parliaments exercise oversight of public procurement and public private partnerships. Data is aviable at national level only. Following standard econometric practise each question in the survey (see blank survey) is coded in sequence (see Procurment_Variable  Document). A survey instrument designed to capture the nature, workings and outputs of Public Account Committees (PACs). Data is available at the national and sub-national level (for some countries).
